Military, Aerospace & Government - ARCHIVE

Clear-Com intercom systems provide solutions for almost any communications need in the Military, Aerospace and Government world. The system is a specifically-configured communications solution intended to connect individuals who are working on the same project at the same time. As opposed to the classic telephone system, a Clear-Com system can provide a secure, highly reliable, low latent path which allows communication between two or hundreds of people simultaneously.

E-FIB-HX

480261Z: Spare Single-Mode SFP Transceiver

Product Description Left

Description

Eclipse® HX Matrix Intercom Systems, powered by EHX configuration software, deliver a redundant, modular, and scalable communications solution. The self-contained intercom system offers advanced workflow capabilities designed for both local and global operations.

Product Description Right

E-FIB-HX

E-FIB-HX fiber interface card enables the connection of Eclipse frames into a high-speed, dual-redundant fiber ring. This topology supports up to 16 frames and 1952 audio channels, with each frame configurable to contribute between 16 and 224 ports. Multiple fiber rings can coexist within an intelligently linked system, facilitating high-capacity intra-facility connectivity that integrates seamlessly with global network links. Utilizing Eclipse’s decentralized intelligent linking, the system automatically routes intercom audio across frames via this high-capacity fiber backbone.

Technical Specifications Left

Matrix Frame Architecture

  • Eclipse CPU and Audio interface cards communicate on the frame's TDM backplane using a proprietary serial protocol that passes requests and instructions from the cards.
  • Eclipse Audio interface cards make its audio inputs available on the frame's TDM backplane using PCM audio and receives from its other card inputs for mixing to its outputs.
  • Eclipse CPU controller cards communicate externally to the configuration computer or control system via a serial network interface.
  • Eclipse Audio interface cards communicate externally on their own dedicated interfaces. Externally each card is an individual clock domain and does not bridge to other cards.
  • No network connections are shared or bridged between cards.
