Clear-Com to Feature Highly Anticipated New Technology at AES and NAB New York Shows
The company will debut its new IrisX V-Series Panel and showcase new EHX 13 features as well as the award-winning Arcadia Central Station with HelixNet integration.
Clear-Com® is excited to announce its return to the AES convention in New York this October 19-20, following the show’s three-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The company will exhibit at Booth #628 on an exhibition floor shared with the NAB New York show and will demonstrate intercom solutions for both broadcast and live markets. Notably, the V-Series IrisX™ panel will make its U.S. debut, and the award-winning Arcadia® Central Station, now with HelixNet® Digital Network Partyline integration, will be showcased as well.
The Clear-Com stand will feature the award-winning Arcadia Central Station, a scalable IP intercom platform that integrates HelixNet and Clear-Com Encore® intercom user stations with FreeSpeak® digital wireless solutions. Additional built-in connectivity allows third-party intercom, two-way radios, and Dante devices to be managed in a single system. Arcadia’s scalability allows it to meet numerous production needs: with support for over 100 beltpacks and offering configurations from 16 ports up to 128 IP ports as needed, the station has the powerful capacity to accommodate a wide range of applications.
The show will serve as the U.S. debut of the new V-Series IrisX Panel. This new panel expands the capabilities of the original V-Series Iris™ Panel, delivering new thin-film-transistor (TFT) displays for increased brightness and better resolution combined with the V-Series Iris’ lower latency and increased port capacity. Truly a modern panel, IrisX fits naturally into IP-based productions with AES67 connectivity and dual NIC connections. Notably, IrisX will take advantage of role-based workflows, a new feature in EHX 13 that is unique in the industry and will be shown at the booth.
Show attendees will also be able to see features introduced in the EHX 13 software update of the Eclipse® HX Digital Matrix, including N+1 redundancy and dual network support. Support for NMOS IS-04 and IS-05, scheduled to be released in 13.1, will be shown as proof of concept.
While Clear-Com will officially exhibit on the AES roster, the company invites guests of the NAB show to visit their booth as well. “We are grateful for and excited by the strong return of live events and Broadway,” said Bob Boster, President of Clear-Com. “Of all industries that suffered during Covid-19 closures, the live market was probably the most affected. We are excited to return to New York this year to celebrate a new era of live entertainment, as well as meet with our contacts in this important broadcast market.”
