Wired Intercom System
The Eclipse HX-Delta Matrix frame is a highly popular choice for broadcasters, as it enables critical communication for production teams that need direct (point-to-point) and one-to-many connections. The addition of the IVC-32-HX IP Interface card enables IP connectivity across the intercom platform, while the E-Dante64-HX card allows Eclipse HX to interoperate with other Dante-enabled devices on the network. The E-QUE-HX card facilitates seamless integration with Clear-Com’s award-winning FreeSpeak II digital wireless solution.
The new V-Series 32-key lever panel, launched earlier this year, will also be on display. It offers higher key density and advanced programmability in the same panel space as other models. There are now three main lever key-panel types: a 1RU with 12 keys, a 2RU with 32 keys, and a portable desktop unit with 12 keys, as well as a 16-key expansion panel for greater capacity. Effectively, it is now possible for a user to access up to 96 keys using up to four expansion panels. There are four programmable Function buttons that enable faster execution of common panel operations or advanced level operations available in the Eclipse HX systems.
Wireless Intercom Systems
Operating in either 1.9GHz or 2.4GHz frequency bands, the five-channel FreeSpeak II has been designed for expansive roaming communication with unbeatable audio clarity at the 7kHz wideband. Deployed as a base station or integrated matrix solution, FreeSpeak II offers the unique ability to mix the system components (transceiver antenna and wireless beltbacks) from both bands in the same solution for addressing RF issues in certain production environments. This system has proven itself time and again as the ideal wireless roaming solution for broadcast, sports production, live events and many other applications requiring clear and reliable communication channels.
For moderate-size deployments, the two-channel DX410 digital wireless system is an excellent choice among 2.4GHz options. The system features the high quality 7kHz wideband audio, 2-wire and 4-wire bridging, and 2-wire auto-nulling for fast integration with Clear-Com or TW wired partyline systems.
IP Connectivity
In addition, Clear-Com will present version 4 of the acclaimed LQ Series of IP Interface devices. This latest version expands the intercom footprint over greater distances over IP, and connects IP-based communication devices to existing intercom systems. Not only does LQ enable SIP telephone interfacing with any Clear-Com intercom system, allowing intercom users to make direct calls to SIP-based phone systems, but it can also make the Agent-IC mobile client app - on any iOS or Android smart device - widely available to any intercom system user. The Agent-IC mobile app has been highly favored for monitoring feeds from any audio source on the comms, receiving IFB feeds, competitor air-checking and remote communication with headquarters.
All these solutions will be on display in Clear-Com’s booth N332, Hall B, Level 3 at NAB NY 2017, which runs from October 18-20 at the Jacob J Javits Convention Center, New York.
NAB NY 2017 is co-located with AES NY 2017, where Clear-Com can be found at Booth #828.
