FreeSpeak - Wireless Intercom

Arcadia supports the FreeSpeak family of wireless intercom, including 1.9 GHz, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands which can be concurrently deployed on an Arcadia system.1 FreeSpeak antenna transceivers, connected via E1 CAT/Fiber plug and play cable connections or IP using AES67 capable networks, can be modularly added for coverage and capacity of beltpacks which can roam between overlapping transceivers. FreeSpeak beltpacks can have their keys assigned to any Channel, Group or Interface Port on the system. Each FreeSpeak beltpack requires an Arcadia Licensed Port2.

HelixNet - Wired Partyline Intercom

Arcadia supports the HelixNet wired partyline intercom, including remote stations, speaker stations and beltpacks. Arcadia Channels can be selectively enabled for decentralized mixing in HelixNet User Stations. HelixNet user stations connect to Arcadia via an IP network or via standard 3 pin XLR connection using the HelixNet powerline device allowing multiple stations to connect of a passively split line. HelixNet User Stations can have their keysets assigned to any HelixNet Enabled Channel on the Arcadia system. Each HelixNet Enabled Channel requires an Arcadia Licensed Port2.

I.V. Direct - LQ & Eclipse E-IPA Interfacing

Arcadia can interface to LQ and Eclipse E-IPA equipped intercom systems locally & globally over LAN, WAN or Internet using Clear-Com’s Instant Voice I.V. Direct ports. I.V. Direct port includes bi-directional audio, and are easily routable through firewalls with adjustable network Quality-of-Service settings and secured with username and password. I.V. Direct ports receiving connection from LQ include call and virtual GPIO control signaling that are available in the Arcadia Logic module. I.V. Direct interface ports are assignable to any Channel, Group, FreeSpeak and Arcadia keyset on the system:

I.V. Direct provide Interface Expansion with LQ

  • 2-Wire & 4-Wire Interface with LQ 2 & 4-wire ports
  • Two-Way Radio Interface with LQ GPIO ports
  • SIP Interface on LQ with SIP License
  • Agent-IC & Station-IC on LQ with License
  • Gen-IC Virtual Intercom

I.V. Direct provide Intercom System Bridging

  • Eclipse-HX matrix with E-IPA (or IVC-32) IP card
  • Arcadia Central Station
  • Analog or 3rd Party Systems using LQ
Product Description Right

Dante, Analog Audio & Control - Interfacing

Arcadia can interface to a variety of 3rd party audio and intercom systems with audio interface ports assignable to any Channel, Group, FreeSpeak and Arcadia keyset on the system:

  • Dante audio network interfaces allow any Dante input or output to connect to Arcadia. Each Dante port requires an Arcadia Licensed Port2.
  • 4-Wire provides the ability to connect analog line-level audio inputs and outputs to Arcadia.
  • 2-Wire Partyline allows interfacing to existing analog partyline intercom system infrastructures or to add Partyline user stations or interfaces using Arcadia’s built in power supply.
  • GPIO provides Inputs and Relay Outputs for system control. Inputs allow activation of audio crosspoints and call signals, while Outputs can be activated upon key presses, audio crosspoints and or call signals configurable in Arcadia’s Logic configurator.

Intercom User Station

Arcadia’s front panel user station provides four keysets on large, high resolution, color touch screens, assignable to any Channel, Group, FreeSpeak beltpack, Program Audio or Stage Announce on the Arcadia system. The user station is provisioned with a headset connection, gooseneck mic connector and a loudspeaker in addition to All Call, Stage Announce and Remote Mic Kill.

System Configuration

Arcadia front panel menus provide the ability to configure the basic system configuration using an interface consisting of color touch screens coupled with tactile rotary encoders and buttons. With the front panel, wireless beltpacks and transceivers can be added to the system, 2-Wire connections can be nulled and network addresses configured. Arcadia’s Core Configuration Manager™ (CCM) is an integrated, browser-based configuration utility enabling rapid setup, configuration and monitoring of the system.

Licensed Ports - Scalable Capacity

Arcadia hardware platform allows capacity to be activated as customer requirements grow or features are developed. Arcadia’s flexible licensing options allow right-sizing of the system required via Licensed Port Capacity. As the need for greater capacity grows or a new feature is needed, field deployable Licensed Port Upgrades can be used to increase Arcadia’s intercom footprint.

Why Choose Station-IC?

Efficient Operation for Multitasking

Station-IC’s ergonomic, easy-to-use interface is designed for familiarity and consistency with other user stations. Station-IC’s large Talk and Listen buttons with individual level control allow operation with mouse and touchscreens. The window can be scaled to fit the screen and shows input and output audio meters. Station-IC’s always-on-top compact mode keeps favorite intercom keys in the smallest window, while working on other applications. Favorite keys can be designated by the user, without administrator involvement, ensuring notifications of incoming calls and Eclipse reply / LQ call keys are always visible.

Robust Technological Foundation

Station-IC uses mission specific audio codecs designed to operate over LAN, WAN and Internet network connections of various quality. Clear-Com’s legendary IP connectivity, drastically minimizes efforts required for network management and routing. Station-IC connects to the host Eclipse HX matrix via the E-IPA/IVC-32 card or to any LQ series Interface device with available capacity.

Event and Subscription License Options

Station-IC is licensed per computer using either Event or Subscription licenses. Event licenses enable effortless licensing for one week or one month duration from the time of first connection and are ideal for short-term surge capacity and rental applications while Subscription licenses are for ongoing requirements at the lowest daily cost. Subscription license expiration is clearly displayed to users in the last month of the subscription. Licenses can load multiple subscription extensions on a single computer for extended duration. License Tickets allow license owners to retrieve and transfer subscription licenses.

Integrates into any Intercom System

Station-IC fully integrates into Eclipse systems with available IP port capacity while LQ offers Channel based routing with a wide variety of LQ interfaces allowing Station-IC to connect to Clear-Com’s Encore Partyline systems, TW Partyline, HelixNet, Two-Way radios, SIP telephone lines and to any other intercom system via four-wire.

Small Budget Production with Partyline and Wireless

For many smaller production facilities, wireless communication or additional endpoint positions are typically out of reach as many systems can be difficult to fit into a finite budget. But with some device creativity, schools, small churches and theatres can put together a wireless system that will greatly enhance their capability to manage their productions. A set of analog wired positions, a Windows or MacOS computer combined with an Android or iOS mobile devices gives anyone a viable wireless system. Communication for Stadium Operations

The Eclipse HX-Delta matrix frame carries point-to-point communication over network gigabit switches to individual panels at static positions. The LQ Series IP interface extends communication to 3rd party communication devices like IP phones and two-way radios. The E-IPA network card also allows for eight licenses each of the Agent-IC mobile app and the Station-IC desktop client. Agent-IC works on any iOS or leading Android device – it gives users a multi-channel virtual panel that can take a signal from Wi-Fi, LTE and 3G transmitters. Station-IC functions on any device running Windows or MacOS. The addition of FreeSpeak Edge to the system allows for mobile staff to communicate from anywhere in the arena.
