Clear-Com® will be attending the Broadway Stage Management Symposium, a professional development and networking conference for Broadway's stage managers and professionals, from May 21 – 23 in New York City. Clear-Com is closely aligned with the show’s mission of empowering theater professionals of all ages and experience levels from around the world through educational workshops, networking opportunities and hands-on demonstrations. The company will bring their products developed for the theater market and will be participating in a panel discussion, Technology & Innovation for Stage Managers.
“Clear-Com has a commitment to stage managers and an unwavering dedication to the performing arts,” commented Vinnie Macri, Senior Market Outreach Manager. “Our first products were developed in response to needs of production teams and stage personnel for rock bands during the Summer of Love, before making our way into theater applications including on Broadway, The West End, and Cirque shows. User feedback has informed our product development from the beginning, and it continues to do so.”
With strong roots in the live market, Clear-Com has developed a longstanding relationship with many Broadway productions and their touring equivalents, including The Lion King, Hamilton, Les Miserables and many more, providing solutions that consistently meet the demands for high-quality audio, reliability, scalability and low latency. Clear-Com’s Encore® Analog Partyline, HelixNet® Digital Partyline, and FreeSpeak II® Digital Wireless Intercom will be among the solutions being demonstrated at the conference—these systems have risen to the forefront of high-end live performance applications and have been very successful on Broadway.
The Agent-IC® Mobile App will also be at the show, along with the latest headsets from Clear-Com, the lightweight CC-28 headset, and the CC-70 wrap-around dual ear headset.
Vinnie will be participating in a panel on Saturday May 21, starting at 12:20 PM, entitled Technology & Innovation for Stage Managers which will discuss the latest solutions for Stage Managers, with an emphasis on intercom. “I look forward to connecting with stage managers face-to-face,” concludes Vinnie. “This show provides an intimate platform for us to engage with active users who can provide feedback from the field, which will be incredibly valuable after these last couple of years, while also allowing us to engage with potential new users wanting to get in on the action!”
