Each needs intercom support to properly produce a given program. A control room or main theatre typically has the bulk of the intercom equipment, but ancillary rooms can be easily supported with a properly scaled system. How It Works The Control Room in the main theatre houses an Eclipse matrix frame with necessary interface cards. In the main theatre, the frame supports multiple panels, an Encore analog partyline system and a FreeSpeak II wireless system. This allows for intercom at stationary positions along with the mobility of the wireless beltpacks. In a separate Blackbox room, an LQ throw-down box supports an Encore system through a connection from an IP switch. A fiber run from the FreeSpeak II base station to a splitter provides wireless support for the room.
