At this year’s Prolight + Sound 2007 trade fair and exhibition, Clear-Com®, a brand of The Vitec Group plc, will spotlight the world premiere of the new Easi-PiCo, FreeSpeak® 10 and new Clear-Com Encore™ Partyline communication systems.
With over 35 years in the live performance market, Clear-Com® is a leading manufacturer and marketer of high-performance professional intercom communication systems. The new Easi-PiCo is an Eclipse PiCo digital matrix intercom package that replaces Clear-Com’s popular Easi-Com II. The Easi-PiCo package includes a modified 16-port Eclipse-PiCo matrix, frame, power supply, and external interface cards with a choice of control panels and beltpacks. Designed to run without the need for external software, Easi-PiCo is a true plug and play, entry-level digital matrix intercom package, engineered for easy installation, start up and use.
A popular intercom system used in theater, performance, and other live events, the Clear-Com Partyline allows all people on a given channel to communicate with each other simultaneously. The new Clear-Com Encore™ version of the Partyline intercom system includes changes to the user-interface (UI) to ease operation and a new dark blue body illuminated with LED indicators, and improvements to the audio quality. Underlying the new color and lighting is a design that allows users to more easily see and manipulate the panel’s controls in a darkened control room.Clear-Com’s FreeSpeak® 10 digital wireless intercom uniquely blends digital matrix technology with a locally distributed wireless “network” that operates license-free in the 1.9 GHz frequency band, the international standard accepted by more than 100 countries. The FreeSpeak 10 brings broad connectivity to Partyline and Digital Matrix intercom systems, an addition that enables talking beltpack-to-beltpack or in small groups (with as many as 6 communications routes per beltpack). Users are able to create tightly linked wireless systems with as many as 20 beltpacks, and connect them to a wide variety of wired communications.
Taking place March 28-31, 2007, in Frankfurt, Germany, the annual Prolight + Sound is the world's biggest international trade fair for event and communication technology and audio-visual production and entertainment.
