Cambridge, UK/Alameda CA, 12 February, 2009 – Clear-Com® Communication Systems, a Vitec Group brand, announces the appointment of Ahmed Magd Eldin as Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East, Cyprus, Greece and Turkey, reinforcing the company’s already strong footprint in the rapidly growing region. In his new position, Magd Eldin will further drive and develop business relationships with current and prospective Clear-Com distributors and customers in this area.Based in the Middle East, Magd Eldin joins Clear-Com with more than 12 years of experience in both technical sales and channel management. In his previous positions, which included Regional Sales Manager for Almasa IT Distribution and Silicon21-Dubai and Product Manager for Cisco Systems, he gained solid technical knowledge in large system sales from working with systems integrators and distributors in the Middle East region. As part of this, he developed a deep understanding and respect for the cultural differences of each market.

Magd Eldin received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Ain Shams University of Cairo, Egypt, and is versed in multiple languages, including Arabic, English and French. In his spare time, Magd Eldin enjoys technology (especially computers), reading and travelling.
