The new release of EHX14 offers Clear-Com Matrix systems with E-IPA cards a simple way to add SIP to their intercom deployment. With a matrix integration, intercom devices and third-party equipment can leverage SIP to connect to each other for audio communication. This new capability allows for a simple and powerful solution.
How it Works
An Eclipse-HX matrix frame with an E-IPA card can provide up to 64 licenses of SIP connectivity. When configured properly using the EHX management tool Dynam-EC, a phone number can be attached to a channel allowing a beltpack, speaker station or panel key to make a call to a specific individual’s device via SIP protocol. In many applications, this offers high quality IFB capability. Adding an LQ IP interface provides eight Agent-IC licenses extending intercom communications to Wi-Fi/Cellular devices. A powerful way to scale up communications to additional individuals.
