FreeSpeak Edge Base Station

The FreeSpeak Edge Base Station is a standalone 1RU device that provides extensive connectivity to a wide range of Clear-Com endpoints along with third-party Dante devices. Built primarily to deploy 5 GHz transceivers and beltpacks, the base station also provides support to FreeSpeak II splitters, 1.9 GHz E1 and IP transceivers/beltpacks*, and 2.4 GHz E1 transceivers/beltpacks. The base station also provides multiple software-defined interoperable IP ports that support both Dante and third-party devices.

*Note: A 1.9 GHz beltpack cannot roam between and E1 1.9 GHz transceiver and an IP 1.9 GHz transceiver. Beltpacks on each system can communicate through the base station.

The Core Configuration Manager (CCM) for the FreeSpeak Edge® Base Station has an intuitive user interface with a consistent design for a quick and simple means of configuring the base station with role-based beltpacks, including save and restore, text messaging, individual beltpack and group call signal and remote mic kill.

FreeSpeak Edge® Transceiver

The FSE-TCVR-50-IP is an active IP transceiver antenna for the FreeSpeak Edge wireless system. The transceiver delivers duplex communications from the Eclipse® HX matrix system via the E -IPA-HX interface card to the FreeSpeak Edge beltpacks. Each transceiver can support up to ten FSE-BP50 beltpacks. When supported with an E-IPA-HX card with 64 licensed ports, up to 64 FreeSpeak Edge beltpacks and 64 transceivers can be deployed with one Eclipse HX matrix system. FSII-TCVR-IP-19 (IPT)

FSII 1.9GHz IP Transceiver

The FSII-TVCR-IP-19 is an active transceiver antenna for the FSII-BP19 beltpacks. The transceiver connects to the Eclipse® HX matrix system via the E-IPA interface card. Each transceiver can support up to 10 FSII-BP19 beltpacks. When supported with the E-IPA card, up to 50 1.9 GHz beltpacks (in North America or 100 beltpacks in EU countries) and up to 100 transceivers can be supported on one Eclipse HX matrix system.
