Arabic

The V-Series panel supports the Basic Arabic character set 0x0600 to 0x06FF.The following are not supported:

• Arabic Extended-A

• Arabic Presentation Forms A

• Arabic Presentation Forms B

• Rumi Numeral Symbols

• Arabic Mathematical Alphabetic Symbols

The Arabic characters are drawn right to left unless it is an Arabic number 0 to 9 (0x0660 to 0x669) which is written left to right.

The Unicode Characters in the General Punctuation Block characters 0x2000 to 0x206F are stripped out of the text string.
